Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Tsuan Hong Fishery Co. (全鋐水產有限公司; "we"), a company registered in Taiwan under Unified Business Number 27710969, with its office at Room 121, No. 3, Yugang E. 2nd Rd, Qianzhen Dist., Kaohsiung 806, Taiwan. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it is used.

We only collect what you give us through the quote request form on the Contact page, plus the technical data needed to deliver the site and keep the form free of automated abuse. We do not use analytics and do not build visitor profiles.

From the form:

• Name, email address and phone number (required)
• Buyer type, region and product interest (optional)
• Your message (required)
• Confirmation that you have read this policy, with the date and time you sent the form

Collected automatically:

• Your IP address and basic browser information, processed by our hosting provider when you load any page
• Your IP address and basic browser information, received by Sanity's image service and the jsDelivr network when your browser loads the site's images and web font from them (see section 5)
• Your IP address, browser and connection details, processed by Cloudflare Turnstile when you open the Contact page, to check that the quote request form is being used by a person and not a bot (see section 4)

Please do not include sensitive information, such as health data, in your message.

We use your details to reply to your request, prepare a quotation and, if you go ahead, arrange the supply. Under the EU GDPR this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, it is collection within a pre-contractual relationship with you (Article 19(1)(ii)).

We use the technical data to deliver the website securely and efficiently and to stop spam and automated submissions. This is based on our legitimate interest in running the site and protecting it and our inbox (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

The required fields are needed to answer you. If you would rather not use the form, you can email us directly.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.

This website does not use cookies to track or analyse visitors. Two services can store information on your device:

• Google Maps shows our office on the Contact page. It loads only when you choose to show the map. Google then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, as an independent controller under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Reloading the page removes the map.
• Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from abuse.

The quote request form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a request comes from a person rather than a bot. The check runs when you open the Contact page. Turnstile does not set cookies and does not read what you type into the form. To run the check, it processes your IP address and your browser (user-agent) and connection (TLS) details. Cloudflare uses these signals to protect this site on our behalf and, as an independent controller, to improve its bot detection.

If Turnstile cannot confirm that you are a person, the form will not send. If that happens, email us and we will reply as usual.

Your request is read only by the Tsuan Hong Fishery Co. staff who handle quotations. We share personal data only with service providers that process it for us:

• Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) — hosts the website and runs the Turnstile bot check
• Resend (United States) — delivers form submissions to our inbox by email
• Google LLC (United States) — provides Google Workspace, the email service in which we receive and answer requests
• Sanity, Inc. (United States) — stores the site's content and delivers its images

The site also loads a web font from jsDelivr, a public content delivery network, which receives your IP address in order to send the file to your browser.

If you become a customer, we may pass the contact details needed for delivery to the logistics partners and processing plants that handle your order. We may also disclose data where Taiwanese or other applicable law requires it.

Tsuan Hong Fishery Co. is based in Taiwan, so a request sent through the form is received and stored in Taiwan. Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Taiwan has no EU adequacy decision. If you are in the EU, sending your request to us in Taiwan is necessary for the steps you asked us to take before a contract (GDPR Article 49(1)(b)). Our service providers process data under data processing terms that include the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, and Cloudflare and Google are also certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

We keep a quote request for 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can follow up on the same enquiry, and then delete it. If you become a customer, we keep your details for as long as the business relationship lasts, and afterwards for the period Taiwanese tax and accounting law requires.

Deleted messages may remain in our email provider's backups for a limited period before they are permanently erased. Our hosting, image and font providers may keep short-lived technical logs, and Cloudflare keeps the signals used for Turnstile checks, under their own retention policies.

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

• Ask whether we hold data about you, and get a copy of it
• Correct or complete inaccurate data
• Have your data deleted, or its use restricted or stopped
• Object to our use of it based on legitimate interests
• Receive the data you gave us in a portable format

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We reply within 15 days to requests to access or copy your data and within 30 days to other requests, and in every case within one month. If we need more time, as the law allows, we will tell you why within that period. We do not charge for this.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your data, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos — or, in Taiwan, to the competent authority under the Personal Data Protection Act.

The website is served only over HTTPS, so the form is encrypted in transit. Access to quote requests is limited to the staff who handle them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if a breach puts your data at risk, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

We will update this policy when the data we collect or how we use it changes, and show the new date at the top of this page.
